Kate graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University. She has a strong interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and sports injury treatment, helping people recover from pain, build strength, and get back to the activities they enjoy.
Alongside her weekday work, Kate is the Lead Physiotherapist and Pitch-Side First Aider for Rutherglen Glencairn Football Club, where she continues to gain hands-on experience treating a wide range of injuries and supporting players through their recovery and return to play.
Kate is also trained in Pilates, which she uses within her physiotherapy sessions to improve movement control, core strength, and overall stability. Her background in weightlifting and powerlifting gives her a solid understanding of exercise technique, load management, and gym-based rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys training in the gym and has a love for music — especially singing along to ABBA.
Kate takes a practical, exercise-based approach to treatment and focuses on helping her patients understand their injuries, move with confidence, and reach their goals.
